Kurczak Sielski

Ingredients

200g Sielskie Udek
gyros seasoning
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
chili flakes, salt and black pepper to taste

Tzaziki sauce:
150g thick Greek yogurt
100ml olive oil
6 cloves garlic, chopped
2 shallots, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped fresh oregano
1/4 bunch fresh dill, chopped
2 small cucumbers, chopped
salt and pepper to taste

Vegetables:
1 romaine lettuce
1 bell pepper, cut into strips
1 avocado, cut into slices
1 cucumber
2 tablespoons lemon juice
200 g feta cheese

Preparation:

1. In a bowl, mix together the yogurt, olive oil, garlic, shallot, oregano, dill, cucumber and a generous pinch of salt and pepper. Leave in the fridge overnight.

2. Separate the thighs from the bones, sprinkle with gyros seasoning, smoked paprika, chili, salt and pepper and set aside to marinate for 20-30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the chicken on a baking sheet and baking paper. Bake for 10 minutes, stir and bake for another 5-10 minutes until the chicken is crispy.

3. Mix together the cucumbers, avocado, lemon, dill, salt and pepper.

4. Put the lettuce and peppers in a bowl, top with the chicken, cucumber, avocado, feta cheese and other favourite toppings. Serve with a ramekin of tzaziki sauce.
