BOWL WITH A CHICKEN LEG AND CRISPY VEGETABLES AND TZAZIKI SAUCE
200 g Idyllic Chicken Legs
1 teaspoon of smoked red pepper
chili flakes, salt and black pepper to taste
150 g of thick Greek yogurt
100ml of olive oil
6 cloves of garlic, chopped
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon of chopped fresh oregano
1/4 bunch of fresh dill, chopped
2 chopped small cucumbers
salt, pepper to taste
1 Romaine lettuce
1 red pepper cut into strips
1 avocado, sliced
2 tablespoons of lemon juice
200 g of feta cheese
In a bowl, mix yogurt, olive oil, garlic, green onion, oregano, dill, cucumber and a large pinch of salt and pepper. Leave it in the refrigerator overnight.
Separate the leg from the bone, sprinkle with gyros seasoning, smoked red pepper, chili, salt and pepper and set aside for 20 to 30 minutes to marinate.
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Place the chicken on a baking tray and baking paper. Bake for 10 minutes, stir and bake for another 5 to 10 minutes until the chicken is crispy.
Mix cucumbers, avocado, lemon, dill, salt and pepper.
Put lettuce and red pepper in a bowl, arrange chicken, cucumber, avocado, feta cheese and other favorite toppings on top. Serve with a ramekin of tzaziki sauce.
